I have lived in Berlin since 1997, with a view to the East: Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia. I have been a city guide, freelance author, bookseller and translator, and am currently working for a large financial technologies company.
As a writer, my interests include: History/Cultural History. Travelling in Eastern Europe (and elsewhere). The Holocaust. Cultural exchange between Eastern, Central, and Western Europe. Cities and urbanism.
